BIS assists those served by assisting them to identify and report their needs and by finding resources and service providers that can address the issues that they face. BIS has staff that provides a variety of services. BIS staff includes: office staff, Home and Health Caregivers, Nursing Assistants, and Childcare Providers.

BIS staff meet with and interview all who are served. BIS staff assess and identify what services and resources are needed. BIS staff makes referrals to agencies and organizations that can and will provide the needed services to address all identified needs. BIS provides trainings to those served to help them fully understand what is needed to access services and all steps needed to complete any enrollment for services and resources. BIS staff work one-on-one with those served to complete the process needed to receive services and resources. BIS staff assist all served with taking all needed steps to ensure stability in all essential life areas including health, housing, financial, immigration process completion.
